Dr.Igor Motil graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia in 1992. He received his Urology certificate in 1998. He holds a certificate of the European School of Urology a license and specialized qualification of the Czech Medical Chamber for the field of Urology. Since his studies he gained his practice at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, he joined the National Cancer Institute in Bratislava, where he had been working at the X-ray department focusing mainly on ultrasound and CT diagnostics, before he moved to the Urology Department in Jihlava and Nove Mesto na Morave. Since 2002 he operates his private practice at the Campus klinika Brno in cooperation with the Urological Clinic of Brno University Hospital. Dr.Motil was one of the first urologists who have treated erectile dysfunction using focused linear low-intensity extracorporeal shockwaves. What’s more he was the first to develop an approach with an emphasis on complete tissue coverage which makes “tailor-made” algorithm treatments possible.
